    This weekend was an emotional roller coaster for me as I had to wake up at 6am to pack up my car, go to the office to pick up my computer and show, go pick up @n3rdling from Oakland Airport and finally rush over to Wikia to get setup. Setup was pretty awesome with the help from @TMoney and Milos we got things setup pretty quickly for our three table member's area.

    At 10am we start to see people roll in and they come to check out the gear. Everyone asks me about the new EC BW amp and are wondering what it's sitting on. I told them oh this thing unfortunately it's something unattainable but it looks amazing doesn't it? Answer was F ya that is bad@ss. Looks over at Adam's rig and is wondering what is sitting on top of his Pass Labs amp and I told him oh this is another unattainable thing but it looks just as bad@ass right? Of course.

    Throughout the day I get a lot of questions about both these good looking pieces of gear and then @knerian comes by and says holy sh1t this thing matches my leather fanny pack. I asked him oh the Focal Utopia ear pads? No, but those do look nice but I am talking about whatever is under the BW. I tell him yah it does go quite nicely with your fanny back doesn't it.

    Anyway enough of the suspense @schiit you and your ragtag bunch of misfits from this day forth are officially put on notice. Thank you of course @zerodeefex for loaning me the Black Multibit Gungir and screw you at the same time for having such a nice looking piece of Schiit.

    Jason and Mike what do I need to do? Do I need to get signatures? What is it 30k signatures and you are forced to respond? I will do whatever it takes to make this happen. Please for the love of god make Schiit Black an add-on.

    Suggestion Box: Maybe what happens is you do silver standard and charge extra for black and charge even more for say a red?

    Just throwing this out there man I love my Schiit but damn Black Schiit is just so damn sexy.

    That does look too good. I spend a couple of months posting trying to find a black Gungnir Multibit, but no luck.

    Also jealous of @Mystic 's all black valhalla 2 / bifrost setup (click link for picture). Black is just too cool.

    Not gonna lie. A tiny (I stress tiny) part of me choosing a Musette over a Gungnir Multibit was the love of black. They are a smaller company then Schiit, and do offer their DAC in black and silver. Not taking shots, but the black Gungnir Multibit gave me stirrings...

    All of my Schiit products are silver, but if I had the choice, I would choose black finish Schiit products. I would trade all of my silver Schiit gear for black versions.

    To me, the black finish is so damned sexy. Even those of us who own silver Schiit products already, it would be nice to be able to have the option to purchase black chassis so you can change your silver finish Schiit products to a black chassis finish. Damn I would love for all of my Schiit gear to have the sweet black finish.

    Silver looks good too, but the black finishes are just the "Schiit" (pun intended). @schiit - please offer the option for us to purchase black chassis for our silver chassis. Hey more money for Schiit right?

    Although I tend to prefer silver in my audio gear, I own at least as much stuff in black. Since Schiit clearly has no difficulty in making either finish look damn spiffy, I see no reason (excepting those related to cost/business) why black shouldn't be featured as a standard option. And I particularly like that the buttons and volume knob remain silver; the contrast is quite pleasing to the eye.

    I bet this has to do more with to trouble of keeping 2 of everything on hand in there warehouse, thus roughly doubling warehouse space required, increasing chance that the wrong color is shipped, etc than it does not trying to give customers what they want. They try to keep things stream lined, and one color keeps things simple. I doubt only offering one color has hurt sales.

    Although, think of the influx of sales if black was offered as a new option. And used silvers would take a temporary dive on the used market. Could be interesting...

    Schiit would be able to screen white screen print "764 KHZ DSD" on the front if they went all black too.
