3/16" and I'm not sure if they are 42" long or not. Possibly a lot shorter since they are a low top like a chuck taylor.

Internet photo of the shoes and stock laces (kind of a dark green) - edit: I am pretty sure they are waxed too

Salehe Bembury Pollex clogs or I would never rep. I can't deny the man is a f'ing genius.

I mostly got them because I have all his NBs but it's better than having Yeezy foam runners now that that guy has gone full anti-semite.

The ugly xmas sweater AM90s are some of my favorites. I actually have never worn them outside so I use them as a warm, faux fur lined holiday slipper. I also swapped one of the laces with light up laces so they have the whole christmas tree lights vibe going.

Need some advice. Wanting to grab a pair of white sneakers for summer under $75 or so. Typically my walking sneakers are Saucony, either ride or triumphs, so I prefer good arch support and a decent amount of cushion.

I am not a fan of vans or converse basically because of the lack of both arch support and cushioning. Minimal is not my vibe.

Was contemplating Stan Smiths, Puma Suede/Clyde, or Reebok Club 85s. From the looks the Reebok is probably my bet, but I need help from people who actually have owned them and can guide me. Other options are certainly welcome. Thx.

    Cheers!

@fastfwd Thanks for the tip. I tried two different variants of superfeet in the past and they were super uncomfortable for me. Something with my arch.

@zerodeefex Excellent looking sneakers, esp. the taupe, dusty rose Jordans.

You probably need to see someone to get a custom insole. I'd recommend a podiatrist but you might be better off talking to a running shoe specialist who can measure loaded, etc.

@zerodeefex Thanks for the idea, but I don't need an orthotic. I just tried the Superfeet when I had a bout of plantar fasciitis due to my stupid experiment with minimal shoes and barefoot for walking. haha, effed me up for a good while.

Over the years all the great running shoe brands in the mid space or up to just below flagship from Saucony, Adidas, & Brooks have served me very well.

Funny to see "teardown" (aka sawed in half) videos of sneakers on youtube. The Stan Smith was surprisingly poor.

You piqued my interest in Nike and I am going to try a few cheapies on today to see if they will serve as decent runabouts.

Anybody going in on Air Max Day? I would love the AM1 with the big bubble. I'm a size 10.5 if anyone is lucky enough to get access to two pairs. I'm going to try, but I'm sure I'll miss out.

Kind of want a pair of NB 574. How comfortable are these if I need to be on my feet / walking a lot that day compared to Adidas Ultraboost or Nike Freerun?

I'm going for big bubble for sure. I hear they're comfy AF.

Speaking of comfy bois, these are so nice on feet:

I don't like them at all. If you want something like boost or yeezys, you go 9060. I think the 990 v2 is quite comfy personally (I don't like tons of cushion).

I couldn’t help but cry after getting them on foot.

For real though, I wear my shoes and it was raining out :)

hah! I clean my shoes but wear them in inclement weather. If the snow is light I’ll wear sneakers and I am not afraid of the elements. Life is too short to not get these porkers on feet.
