I finally got around to re-terminating the stock cable to HD800 plugs after not listening to these for about 3 months (sold the wywires cable was previously using waiting on a Draug...still dont have it!) While I really like these headphones, they are not as comfortable as my HD600s and actually sound quite similar...too similar to keep.

I customized the headphones to have a detachable cable using HD800 plugs. This required removing the driver and drilling through the hemp. The hemp is pressed wood and some of the material flaked off, but otherwise the whole process went very well. I rewired using Cardas quad solder on the drivers and all connectors.

The headphones also come with a brown (coffee) leather headstrap, geekria pads and Geekria case along with the stock box and paperwork, etc. The headphones were ordered without the buttons attached, and those are also in the box.

I want to make sure they go to a good home and therefore I will sell here to friends and contributors here only.

Asking price is $300 net to me. Shipping is via USPS from Massachusetts unless buyer has a preference.

I will work on getting some photos up. I have to locate the original headstrap, but I am sure its at my office, just have not been in a while.
