SOLD: HE-6

I'm selling my HE-6 for $750 CONUS shipped.

It comes with black Audeze vegan pads. It's been modded by Bill to reduce resonance. I've also replaced the mesh with a mesh with wider mesh. I have all of the original parts and everything is reversible.

The paint is a little nicked up, but not bad. Photos are here:

I'm tempted, still, but at the price they're going for new on Amazon, I've been paralyzed into indecision.

 

I could do $825. With me handling shipping, that's like $800, plus the vegan pads are $80 new and basically required, so really it's a steal

So I had a few bites, but not sold yet. Dropping the price a bit.

No blutack, I'm not sure that's on the recommended list anymore. Ask Bill.

 

Yeah... I don't like how blu-tak causes even more brightness with this.

Reflection damping took even more edges off, so this is essentially a "polite" HE-6, if such a thing does exist.

 

You saw it here first. Buy my HE-6 so I get my PurpleHeart before Marv.

I should offer up the perfect tube amp for this headphone....poor thing doesn't get much use in the second system...way way too good for sitting like that!

 

Ok, let's admit I was being pretty dumb for thinking used had this much value. Let's go with $750.
