Update - The previous buyer returned these because they have a smoke smell. I don't smoke so this confused the hell out of me. The only conclusion I could come to was the box that was bought and used smelled like smoke. When I got them back I couldn't smell any smoke. Maybe it's just me, anyways just wanted to put this out there so anyone who is interested knows beforehand.

Welp, i'd say it's finally time. I've had these for almost a year now and ever since I bought the 650's the mad dogs have just been sitting on my desk unused.

These are in almost pristine condition. The only cosmetic flaw is a small adhesive circle left over from removing a mod mic from the headphone. It's on the left side underneath the words Mad Dog. This was successfully removed after getting help from fellow friends.

Items included are the small velvet/whatever material is used bag the headphones came with and 1/4 in cable.

Killer price for a solid headphone. Loved the tonality of these. I'd snatch this up in a jiffy, except that I no longer care for closed cans.

Have you tried applying a small amount of Goo Gone to that spot, @MLegend? Or maybe isopropyl? I've had luck with both in the past.

I haven't but I'll definitely try to remove it tonight. A little worried rubbing the sticker might tear it.

Just be careful, try to not smear anything. Only use a little! Stay on the plastic. Maybe apply with a Q-tip if you want to play it real safe.

I remember mine had the stickers missing. Gives it the bad ass Darth Vader look.

Heh, my Mad Dog Pro was the same way. :) With a dual-entry cable, it looked pretty boss. Remains the best MrSpeakers can I've yet heard.

If you wind up with goo left over that won't come off, trying using tape to remove it. It's been surprisingly effective for me in similar situations.

Actually it has stickers. They cover up the factory labels. The stickers are just blank. If you bought them new Dan shipped an extra set of blank stickers.

Whoops! You're right. The illusion was pretty seamless, so I had forgotten about that.

Thanks to Huxleighs advice I've successfully removed all of the left over goo from the mod mic. There is still a visible circle mark left over but I will keep on applying the isopropyl and hopefully remove the circle mark too.

Haha I meant the letters, meaning the headphones look super slick with them missing.

Did you give the Goo Gone a shot? Massage the spot with a bit of that, then clean up with isopropyl. That may remove the mark. Isopropyl by itself is great for breaking down the bulk of gunk, but can struggle with trace residue.

Being obsessive-compulsive has it perks. :p

@Armaegis: What sort of tape do you use? I'm always on the lookout for tips.

Any tape that doesn't leave it's own sticky tack behind has worked for me. I've used clear packing tape with good success, and also duct tape.
