SOLD: Studio T

I'm selling my Studio T, #3. You all know this amp is legendary in resolution, I still hold that it's by far the most resolving amp out there. It also has a delightful sweetness.

I no longer listen to headphones anymore and in fact, this amp has sat off on my shelf while I listen to speakers for almost 2 months. It's a great amp, but I'd much rather someone else have it that will actually enjoy it.

I'm selling it for $6700, which for those who know how rare those transformers are, it's a steal. That's about $1k off what I paid with CA sales tax. I'm not selling my RCA 2A3s though.

It's currently down in LA with Marv, but this can be shipped anywhere in the CONUS. If you're International and willing to have someone pick it up, Marv may be willing to do a voltage conversion for a nominal fee + payment of the warranty transfer.

How much for shipping to London?

 

If someone will pre-pay for shipping to London and deal with customs so it's as simple as a it is to slap a pre-paid FedEx sticker for CONUS on the two boxes, that's fine.

Isn't this a speaker amp as well? Why wouldn't you continue using it even if you are listening to speakers?

 

This is an amp that works best with more efficient speakers. It's a great sound (see Marv's speaker posts), but it's not the road I want to go down.

 

Shit, if you had put this up two weeks ago I'd have bought it. Damn it, I need a second bonus.
