All that's fine, personal preferences and choice. Very nice. But not if one is then making a fuss about audio purity. But hey, I don't know the guy: maybe he doesn't!

This is exactly the sort of thing that I've always thought is just for show and for those who have too much money to spend. But am I wrong? Is it just my bias saying what speakers should look like?

What would this setup actually sound like?

 

While I haven’t seen too many simulations of donut shaped baffles, it should have far less diffraction than flat baffles with sharp corners

My experience with a few of these big ol' horn speakers is that you've got to sit a good distance back for them to sound good. So, a speaker that big needs a minor cavern to listen to. At least in my semi-limited experience.

 

Visually, it's a stunning speaker. My fave so far in this thread.

I'm so confused by this window... at first I thought this was maybe a fancy storefront in a mall, but it appears to be a home exterior window because I can see a rooftop, but who builds windows right down to (what appears to be) ground level? Having both blinds and a curtain is, well, whatever. Also, is that a picture of an oceanfront on the fence??
