Seems like I’ve missed a few “wtf?” type products over the last few years. Warwick also has a $35k e-stat headphone system out now...

And of course the new $55k Orpheus that nobody has heard for more than a few minutes....

    Anyone listened to these?

At 10k AUSD my interest is pure curiosity as to how they sound and what justification there is for opening the batting with such a crazy price.
I know they have made high end gear for while but 6k US for a first offering - sheesh!

There is a chance I can give these a listen. If it materializes, I’ll share my thoughts,

Warm but very detailed, excellent bass, very low distortion, relaxed upper midrange, depressed treble, but with a small treble spike to add some sparkle. Soundstaging is not bad and probably falls into the accurate instead of expansive camp.

Nice for long term listening, but the upper midrange depression is obvious especially in comparison to something like the Utopia or recent releases from Audeze (lcd5) and DCA (Stealth). This can be addressed somewhat by EQ, but would love to see someone design some pads to fix this.

Excellent build quality and very good sound, but ultimately not worth the MSRP IMO.
