Great price! Looks like a 3m HD800 balanced cable sells for $475 on Moon Audio and is $210 on Drop. Drop doesn’t have all the termination options (like for Focal headphones).

Years ago I demoed a Cardas Cross (the smurf cable) and a Clear Light cable for my HD600. Preferred Clear Light slightly, but didn’t wow me enough to buy it. Wrote a few impressions on SBAF. I also need super long cables for the living room which is part of the problem given how expensive cables are (4m ideal for me, so I love the stock Utopia cable).

My SS HPA broke and I ordered the drop v280 deal to replace it but it ain't gonna be here for a long time. Wanted to experiment with tubes but I need balanced input for PC setup & there arent many/any full balanced tube amps under $2000 including cost of upgraded tubes etc that arent hybrids. This would be interesting to experiment with but being a hybrid I wonder if I'd be disappointed in the difference of sound. Maybe should just be patient and wait for original amp I ordered, don't want to waste my cash but seems interesting as I've never heard cavelli sound sig. My only concern seems a lot of reports of failure in power stage on various forums. Hmm, will have to do some thinking.

I'm not considering it personally, but just thought I'd share in case anyone was interested. After graduating from the @fraggler School of Kablez Making, I only buy wire and connectors

That's nothing. Do you remember when headphone earrings were a thing? Little dongles on each side to serve as adapters for the half dozen different types of connectors...

Damn, looks like the deal is already over, it’s up to $690 now. Glad I ordered one at the $399 price.

it’s still available for $399. You just have to use the special links (like in the original post) to see the lower price.

reading the loaner tour notes, there isn't really any talk of how isolating Elegia is or is not. Anyone who's tried them care to comment on them in that regard?

I found it to isolate really well, significantly more than the D2000/Emu Teaks I typically use for closed backs.
