$60 off. Wondering if these might work for me since they are buds not IEMs? Have found my ears can't do iems, but have been wanting something with a bit more isolation than porta pros and wireless when going on walks/doing chores/etc.

 

I really like the Galaxy Buds Live. Like you, I can't do IEM's but these are extremely comfortable for portable listening. I use them walking the dog, doing stuff around the house and making phone calls. There are two different sizes of rubber fins included, and when I went to the larger one they really locked into place well. I really like being able to fully hear my surroundings too.

 

Thanks for the impressions, sounds like they might be the ticket to fill the void in my lineup!

I am putting together a cheapo system for a friend and bought an Audioquest Beetle for $25 on eBay (they are $40 from Audioquest via Amazon if you prefer that route.) The DAC is Meh or maybe Meh+ but I was surprised to see that the wall wart is claimed to be a linear power supply!

I am not going to take the time to a/b with my iFi iPower, but if 5v 500mA 2.5W (with a micro USB connector output) meets your needs, might be worth picking up.
