This week I visited a well known torrent site. In the ebook section my curiosity was piqued by the title "Masturbation by Janet Hall". Before I knew what had happened the file was downloading. It was as though my mind and body had been outside of my control, subject to the awesome power of a mighty deity. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it (excuse the pun ha ha).

Anyway the book is shite. I didn't even get to the end of the 1st paragraph before encountering the word "doggone". I deleted the file. Fortunately, dear (solitary) reader, before doing so I captured a screenshot of one of the preface pages. I believe it may the the most brilliant, funny and pertinent pieces of boilerplate text ever published. Here it is (if you are a true contrarian or a master/mistress of irony please feel free to have someone else read it out to you):
