I'll put something in there for you. It might be labeled "GE". Maybe.

I like my Falcons. But loosing the first game of the season to the defending champs was tough to take. I'm afraid they'll have a hard time bouncing back from the first lose. Kinda set the tone for the season I'm afraid.

Matt Ryan needs to step it up! (He's on my fantasy team...)

I think the season for the Falcons might start off a bit rough, but you've got one hell of a team. I think they'll do alright.

To loose the first game of the season makes it an uphill battle. If the Falcons could have pulled out that game I think they would have had a good chance to make the superbowl...maybe. They are fun to watch nonetheless.

    Bengals vs Falcons...bring it!

Looking back on this thread, it seems you are quite the football prophet. Rodgers leg injury.

Do retrospective prophecies still count? (looks like his comment was the day after the game)

But seriously, as a lifelong Packers fan I've already had about as much excitement from that game as I can stomach. Seeing Rodgers go down and get carted off in game 1 of regulation nearly made me lose my brats. Then that comeback, I couldn't go to sleep for awhile after because my heart rate took awhile to come down. I feel for those Bears fans though. First being Bears fans, and now this.

If Packers D can't protect Rodgers though it's going to be a very short season for us indeed. Please, please don't make us bring Kizer back out. Please.

Any other Giants fans? I suspect the team will be pretty mediocre (thanks in large part to yet another year with a shitty OL), but with Barkley and Beckham on the same team, the games are going to be can't miss TV. That should be a historically exciting duo.

I hope they do well. The last few years drama with players and coaches wasn't fun, but I think Eli and crew could have a good next few seasons.

Good to see the Bears not suck terribly. Mack has boosted that team. He's no Von Miller, but I may be biased.

I stand by my prediction that the Bears will live to regret the deal.

They did look good last night.

On the other hand, Wilson can't afford to hold onto the ball for 20 seconds with that crap o-line.

How about that now-former Vikings kicker... could have won the game with a 35 yarder and missed for a THIRD TIME in a row. Feel bad for the guy, he's clearly a talented kicker in a jumble of nerves. I think Packers and Vikings fans alike can agree to pretend that game never happened. It was the football equivalent of an almost sneeze.

The Browns kicker is out as well.

    It's a hard job.

Yeah man I felt for the Browns kicker. I don't even like the Browns but I find myself rooting for them. You know it's bad when Bud Light is running a PR campaign that is essentially "when will they finally win a game?"

Bengals look really good so far. But Bengals fans have been conditioned to be cautious with our optimism. Hopefully Gio can keep our run game up til Mixon is back

I think Gio's capable of carrying the load and it'll be interesting to see how much they use Carson as his backup.

Did you all see Zimmer's comments on releasing the Vikings kicker? Classic Zimm:

Barring injury or Mack's production falling off a cliff, Mack looks like he will be worth every penny. He's transformative for the Bears D. The rest of the Bears D line will feast due to the attention that needs to be given to Mack. And QBs will be forced to get rid of the ball QUICK.

And we're paying Mack that money while we still have Trubinsky on a rookie deal (if the Bears are going to regret something, it looks more likely that the regret trading up to get Trubisky rather than grabbing Watson or Mahomes).

Why do you think the Bears will regret the deal?
