    If there is one deity I like it is Heracles a.k.a. Hercules. Why? He is just a dude, doing his thing and sometimes things went wrong (horny Zeus, jealous Hera). In the end he died and became immortal but his flaw was wrath not hubris.

    If I have to have gods (I'd rather not) I prefer the Hindu pantheon. They too are a bunch of folk muddling through and making mistakes.
    Too right. But worse than over-rated: totally fictionalised. I suspect that the real Jesus, albeit no sort of saviour, blah blah blah, was quite a guy.

    Don't know much about JK47: for all I know he might be a devotee, in which case he's sure to hate this.
