    Oh, just to make it more clear how much worse the specific potentiometer on this Topping L30 amp was compared to the one ASR reviewed, I made an attempt to line up the Y-axis accordingly and scale the graph according for a closer apples-apples comparison. Note ASR's time scale throws things a bit off on the x-axis.

    Seriously, I can't make this stuff up. It's so obvious that the pot on ASR's L30 review unit was picked out among several dozen, maybe a hundred.

    I would suggest creating a video of an L30 HV stress test. Powered when subject to Tesla coil discharge. Even better if sound recorded during the testing, though this is risky for the quality components.

    I can loan you one of several Tesla coils in my inventory. One is guaranteed to produce over 100 KV with serious energy. Once upon a time I tested a questionable 8086 processor while powered with this device. The 8086 shot flames several feet into the air in the lab while releasing the magic smoke.

    Seems like you lucked out on the garbage sampling hahahaha. I always question myself when seeing ASR review stuff from major chinese brands because Amir very explicitly tells they send the stuff themselves to him, and being a objectivist marketed company, they might gold pick a perfect one from the lot.

    What I can tell you subjectively (I don't own measuring gear unfortunately) is that when I downmix the channels to mono on MusicBee or Peace APO it always sound dead-on center after 9 o'clock, and has a very slight deviation before that (1.5db or less). I find it slight because I do have an OTL with a shit-tier pot on it and unmatched drivers to boot, so I'm very used to adjusting channel imbalance on pre. That normally results to -2,5 or so in the right channel in Peace. My L30 pot doesn't even come close to that.

    If everyone got closure on this one I'm fine with that.

    I do have a later revision L30 that I have personally left powered for months in the Livingroom with zero issues.
    Now using a Magni3+ instead so I'd be happy to send it to anybody for a 2nd sample. if its still even relevant lol

    otherwise I'll sell it like the other one I had on ASR hopefully. its not offensive as mentioned above just not for me. even my A90 has been a disappointment but I won't act surprised either. Selling it too.

    @Marvey is this dead to you or do u wanna take another swing to confirm what we probably already know.
