tube buffers

    Personally I feel you are adding extra noise and complicating the signal chain. If you want tubes, use a tube amp.

    Especially for a headphone chain, I do not understand the point of a tube buffer. Just use an amp with tube inputs.

    Tube buffers are very important, but there are other things you should do first.

    They must come after the $3500 usb cable, but before the tiny bags of rocks you strap to your cables to align the chakra and lower lumbar region of the electrons flowing into your amp.

    In all seriousness, why do buffers exist if active pre-amps already exist? Must we triple amplify?
