    I’m no expert, but I think that might be the older ZDSE model, not a ZDS. It says “SE” on the back. I don’t know how much this affects the value though. Maybe an Eddie Current expert can chime in.

    Could be a whole host of reasons. Could be EC doesn't get much attention from the younger hifi crowd. Could be the overall state of the economy. Could be the seller. Could be that some people can't handle the intensive pressure of calculating paypal fees and shipping by a university math professor or a big 4 accountant whatever he does for a living.

    I could be wrong, but it looks like he bought that unit for $2400 and is now selling for $2400 plus shipping, which is why I thought it’s languished there for so long. Karma or something.
