So the postman delivered even with it absolutely pouring in the afternoon.

The main proposition for these are Customization + Price. Shipping is pretty cheap, although I'm in SEA so that's probably why it's dirt cheap - paid only US1.12 for shipping that took 9 days (inc. weekends) to reach me.

My cable is 0.78mm 2Pin L + 1.8m 4 wire Junkosha silver wire + Straight 3.5mm, and that's 35USD. They've updated it while it was on the way over and the combo is now 40USD, but you get 8 wire choices as well. The build seems pretty good as well, although probably one can complain the 3.5mm jack isn't filled with hotglue as precaution (the earphone side is glued though). Wire isn't very flexible and has more memory character than the standard 3wire black stock cable, it's soft enough that it shouldn't get in the way too much.

Edit: Ok 1.8m is WAAAY TOO LONG.

While I'm not sure if it's because of the Asura 2.0 I also ordered (intended as a gift), I got a free pair of Monk Plus in the packaging as well.

(They also make cheap 4.4 pentaconn cables for the WM1_ series owners.)
@PoochZag I think they're pretty good for the price.

I'm probably gonna end up buying my first balanced cable from them, if I can't get a deal elsewhere. They seem pretty affordable, and the reviews I've seen on /r/headphones say that they're built decently solid.

I picked up the ve TRRS espresso jack before they offered fancier cable choices and it's some decent effort for a $10 4ft cable. The mx connectors can be a little large for the CA Orion shell and it's going to touch your ears, but the connector itself has a smooth exterior and not bothersome for longer listening sessions. Tonality seems to be more laid back as well, but that requires more listening to really gauge a change. But It's certainly grabbed my interest in the higher end cables they offer.

I can't seem to find IEM cables on the website, only TRS-to-TRS interconnects. How are you guys ordering these cables?

You ended up in the Premium cable section, it's under basic cables for some reason: https://www.veclan.com/engappliance_sel_one?eng_ApplianceVo.eac_id=8

    (Interface is prettty laggy)

Edit: 1.2m is the appropriate length to pick. Don't pick 1.8m - regretting it a lot now.

Laggy isn't even the word for it, and outside of HK I'm the closest geographically. Nothing was coming up on the Basic IC site at all yesterday. I can finally see it now.

I find 1.2m too short. My PW audio cable is 1.35 and the extra 6" really comes in handy sometimes.
