I don't like to speak about the sound of my product, but from my point of view tonal balance is absolutely the same but with a bit more deep soundstage.

But it's more easy for me to speak about comfort - it is significantly better. New pads are softer and better distribute clamp force.

 

Bang on - and with such a easy way of swapping no one can complain.
BTW - will KS backers receive couple of sets of ear pad rings ?

 

How long will it it take for the parts to be delivered to your doorstep? I imagine the magnets are custom made, so I guess 1-1,5 months at least until you can have the whole supply chain for the assembly line in place.

Not to mention KS has to transfer the funds to your account in the first place, which they haven´t so far...

Oh, my God, the wait!

 

Magnets - around 2 month.
Mould for cups - around 2 month.
During this waiting I should produce:

1. All headbands
2. All titanium knobs
3. All pleather parts (earpads and headband pillows)
4. All membranes

When I have injection mould I'll send survey to backers to ask for shipping address and color options. After that I'll cut grills

Assembling of Verum 1 when you have all parts takes about 10 minutes.

 

I'm gonna regret not jumping on this one. Should have made an exception to joining a kickstarter!

 

I saw an ordering form on the official website, with 349USD listed price. I assume you can order and just count with delivery sometime in 2019.

Usual disclaimers apply here as with all early adopter purchases. Better to wait until the product and its actual physical mass production and delivery are fully matured IMHO.

 

So...4 more instructional videos to come ;-)

With regards to making the pads more akin to Dekoni physically; I have the same experiences as Cskippy. Comfort between angled/non-angled can be subjective, however in general it should help with ear clearance as well. Review from Earphiles is looking great. Sorry to hear about the backlash on Russian forum - seems like an irrational conclusion based upon premises of your portrayed personality so far through SBAF, Head-Fi and Kickstarter.

Damn your pads look impressive. This puts in context other manufactures where their pads cost more than Verum 1.

 

@Garuspik dude, I think you nailed it! That larger outer diameter should also provide a little more sub bass and possibly lower the 1kHz region a bit. I look forward to trying those pads.
