Here you go. One thing that bothers me a bit about this is that it loses a bit too much energy around 1 KHz, which makes it sound a bit drier than I like. I wonder if it would do better it was just solid leather on the outside rather than my vinyl electrical tape (which I think seals more than natural leather would)?

For fun, here are measurements with other pads all compared against the perforated leather. Anything that says "+ towel" just means that I included 1 layer of paper towel between pad and magnet for front damping.

@Ox Cart - thank you very much. Large amount of data to think. As you all see - community asked to make Verum 1 brighter and I've listened. It's about +4 db boost at 12 khz with perforated pads vs Ori or vs Brainwavz. And all this at echange of -3db@20hz
So after all, what're you favourite set of pads?

It depends on mood and genre, but generally I like my home-modified "hybrid" pads best, especially with a little EQ to bring up the area around 800-900 Hz. For really busy orchestral music that benefits from a slightly more v-shaped profile and larger soundstage, I like the Ori+paper towel combo. Both are really quite good, just different.

I love how easy it is to swap pads! As another poster noted, if I could buy extra mounting rings (maybe not so sharp on the edges?) I could have a whole stable of pads ready to swap on and off depending on mood, song, etc.

Stand looks absolutely fantastic with that beautiful Verum. Is that Verum 2? Sorry to say I haven't been following development.

Yeah, it's really cool. Though not very practical.
It's still good old Verum 1 ;) Just an mk2 version - with new headband that will be soon available for separate purhase and user installation. This will take less then 5 minutes.

No, it doesn't have speaker drivers inside as far as I know ;)
This stand is made in Ukraine. Person who send this stand to me also make smoking pipes.

Really dig the new look. Might bite the bullet on a pair of these this year.

Nice. So either way if I just update headband or go all new mk2 (leaning this way for connectors and pads) I'll have a nicer experience. Thanks for sharing

Jesus Christ Garuspik. You managed to turn them gorgous.

Anyone getting Audeze 2010 vibes? with the added bonus of what is imo a superior sound to the LCD-2(all revisions)

Do not stop making headphones, you have the sound down and now the look. People seem to bitch and moan about your comments which IMO are hilarious on discord no one can deny the talent here.

@Garuspik in a previous post you mentioned Verum 2 might have "Ring-Magnet" structure instead of "Bar-Magnets", what are the reasons using "Ring-Magnets" in Verum2?
And can we expect Verum 2 will be ready in this year?:p:D
