I got massively addicted to Hollow Knight and Super MEat Boy shortly after. Indie games, though of stunning gameplay. Latest God of War also is a beast of a game.

Hollow Knight is an absolute gem of a game. Gaming in its purest form.

Asus PG279 for both console and PC gaming.

Right now I'm playing Caladrius Blaze. I love shumps even though I'm terrible at them.

I dont need anything special for gaming/movies. Stopped using virtual surround and back to stereo. Just need bass to come out right. Using Modi Multibit+Saga+LSR30X and works great for movies+gaming.

    99 Euros two controllers included.

The learning curve to the SNES games is challenging enough to keep me busy. Street Fighter 2 Turbo is a bit steep. Even 50CC Mariokart can still be tricky (finished the first two trophy cups last night!).

Also Kirby is a lot of fun. I would have liked Mortal Kombat 2 but hey Street Fighter will do...

Super Mario RPG is too much fun. Some riddles/challenges are annoying but I am now half way. 3 of the 7 stars are in.

    J-RPGs might be my thing.

I haven't used a fightstick in over a decade (Nintendo Super Advantage), so there is definitely going to be an adjustment period. I love the Seimitsu buttons with their tactility (a little like the Cherry Browns in my keyboard), but the Sanwa joystick has a greater (and lighter) range of motion than I was expecting. I am missing a lot of dragon uppercuts right now. I might look into a stiffer spring or larger actuator if I get too frustrated.

I ended up spending as much as some of the nicer sticks due to the tooling and finishing stuff that I needed for the enclosure, but I had a blast building it.

Looks sweet. I just put a larger actuator and octagonal gate on my Hayabusa yesterday.

Helps some, but still need more practice. This stage is kicking my ass. (Random video of someone else spamming continues to beat it...)

I used to love the old school shooting games like Aerofighter, R-type, etc., but the modern, bullet-hell games make my eyes cross just watching. I don't think I'd have any fun trying them.

Huh, in the context of modern America, that wording confused the hell out of me for a moment. I threw in a hyphen and now it all makes sense.

Veering back to the thread topic: The only game I've played consistently for the past several years is an old one, Planetside 2. Quite dated by modern standards, but I don't think there's anything else like it out there. Massively multiplayer infantry/ground vehicle/air (96 v 96 fights) with no AI, so everything that happens is directly a result of human player action. Brutally steep learning curve, but fun because crazy stuff happens all the time that's because of conscious player decisions, not computer algorithm.

Super Mario RPG is a one-off classic. The best Mario for me. I didnt like their next iterations (Super Mario Paper?).

Finally started my God of War journey a couple of days ago. I'm really digging it so far.

Summoning your axe after throwing it will never get old.

Plus, there are foul-mouthed dwarves. The only kind that should exist, if you ask me.

It's packed with some pretty good games. One thing to note is that initially I noticed a lag in the controls. I thought that my unit might be bad but it turns out it's an issue with modern TVs that have extra processing to give you a great picture, but results in a delay. I found a setting for 'game mode' which improved things quite a bit. A computer monitor would do the same thing.

I have been researching TVs that have little lag just because of my Nintendo switch.

I hope this technology is affordable in the near future.
