    They can literally be the shittiest grossest used pads. I just want the plastic rings that they come on. I want to put some HM5 pads on my HD600 without destroying the originals.

    Willing to pay a small amount in addition to shipping.

    Wow, somehow I didn't see these two messages beforehand. I had thought that the original pads would have to be destroyed in order to free the plastic rings, but it turns out that they can simply be cut off in such a way that they could easily be replaced if I decide to go back... which I likely won't.

    Yeah, I love the HM5 pads. I had been using them for a while, a friend of mine and I swapped pads so I could test them out. Angled memory foam is the shit, they do good things to the soundstage. Definitely keeping the original foam driver covers from the stock pads though, otherwise they get a little bright
