No quartz in here though, tuning fork. Plus some large resistors, capacitors, and transistors.

Its so hard to photograph with the domed face, but I broke out my real camera and photographed it in its natural habitat.

Okay so I don't need another irresponsibly expensive hobby, and I've maintained to stick with with the one cheapo Tissot (got from my dad, from his dad) for as long as I'm able due to sheer stubbornness and sentimentality, but the Joker Automaton on their site looks bonkers good.

No prices I could find, guessing it's well beyond my means though. But damn is it a beauty.

Perlon Strap Arrived, I think It works nicely on the accutron.

Plus a shot of my whole collection. Accutron at 34mm is tiny compared to my more contemporarily sized 42mm Seiko.
Might sell the Seiko, bit too big for my taste and wrists.
Little Bulova dress watch from 40's is still tiny.

Yeah, that strap works well. The Accutron appears not to have a crown or buttons? How do you set it?

There is an adjustment on the back, little flip out tab to spin. Bulova said it was so accurate it didn't need a crown.

I know I just bought I watch, but I am looking to buy another for sports and such. I row, play ultimate frisbee, Nordic ski, and do other things. For now I have been using my Casio A168, but it is not the best with its metal band and not a ton of water resistance.
The obvious option is the G-Shock, but I am not too much of a fan of the design. I do like the square ones better than the round ones, but I want something more unique than the typical dw-5600.
I also want to keep it around $50, $100 tops.

    Any thoughts?

Most sport watches are stupidly huge. For your wrist look at a quartz victorinox. You can find them in your price range and in a reasonable size.

I was thinking more, I might just get something like an F91-W, and save for a watch I want more for other things, or spend money on something useful.
I am still tempted by that $500 gold metal g shock....

The all metal G-Shock are pretty cool, but if I still think a Seiko SKX or SPR Turtle around $200 is pretty much indestructible and looks really good.

One I have been considering for myself since I don't have a watch that I wouldn't be very careful with. But understand my biases:
Has to have hands, digital for additional functions only
Don't mind a bigger diameter, but dislike the ultra knobby/chunky look. A bit more svelte, please.
This GA2000 series was just released a few months ago. Bold bright colorways but also a couple stealth ones. A bit beyond your price range, but I'm waiting to see if they get marked down for Prime Day(s). $100 and I'm grabbing one.

A metal Seiko 5 Sports? Go for a 37 or 42mm, many options...

This looks kind of square but you have a nice bezel for timing setting too.

I am saving for one too. I do not need one. It is simply too bad ass to resist.

I sold my Longines Hydroconquest for a new everyday wear watch- a Christopher ward Trident 3 GMT IN 38mm (skinny wrists). I really like the chamfered edges on the case And the ceramic bezel. Oh, and the quick micro adjust in the clasp is awesome. I know it's not a luxury or prestige watch, but it's extremely well-made.

I am all about the stainless steel G-Shock square sans-gold. A very cool all around-er.

I used to love watches as a kid. Tried a few times since then but never found an affordable one I liked which fit me, especially given the popularity of 45+mm hockey pucks (I'm a skinny guy).

Had my eye on this Citizen Eco-Drive for awhile and when it dropped to $56 on prime day I couldn't resist. The supplied band wasn't great (very stiff and holes too far apart) so I picked up a nicer one that's much more comfortable. Feels a little weird having one on my wrist after so long but I really like it.

Coincidentally I saw Drop (formerly massdrop, as they’re many, many emails say) had this Seiko for $149, choice of the below and black face with silver or black bezel.
