That watch is cool. I have to sell some watches first though. Too many divers in my collection and I mostly wear my Steinhart Homage or my G-Shock 5610 Solar.

I feel like getting the Citizen Pro-Master Ecodrive or the Arnie.

I just picked up the Pro Master Diver after I sold my smart type watch. Now down to that and an entry level G- Shock. Could not be happier.

    Added a Barton Canvas strap.

don't bump a thread because you're not getting an answer. That's just assholery.

    I wasn't "bumping a thread because I wasn't getting an answer".
I was simply trying over & over to post a photo, so don't be assholery, instead, maybe try to help.

If you want help, indicate you need help.
Anyway, here is how to post a photo.
2 options, upload a file, or insert image from somewhere like imgur. I have circled them in red.
    snip1.PNG
Pretty sure only full members have the upload a file button, so you have to use the insert image button, the top one I circled.
Once you click it, you can paste the image URL in the box that comes up. First you have to upload your image to somewhere like imgur though to get an image URL.

Thank you very much for your help.
I've tried inserting the image URL as you've shown, but I'm using images from my photos on my Mac which don't have a URL. Even if I open my photos with Safari, they still don't have a URL, only a "username file". This is why I asked about drag & drop.

You have to go to a site like imgur.com to upload them, then you get a URL

I have a thing for tough as nails German tool watches so I just picked up a Damasko DA44 to add to the collection. The case is hardened SS so it is unlikely to scratch unless you really try.

I also recently discovered my favorite watch strap, the Nick Mankey Hook. It's an elastic strap that is extremely adjustable and soft. Easily the most comfortable strap I've found. Nick makes these straps out of his home in San Francisco. Super nice guy.

I did have something that matched, but returned them because they were a bit too small, and not sure I could really pull them off, and were $200, expensive, and I realized I wanted that money back.
    Really matched my outfit though.

My vintage Breguet. The plaque is about the practice of medicine. It says, "The Compassionate Heart Is The Compassionate Art."

Saw it on Instagram. I have to resist.

The G-Shock special editions are some of best watches for the money. Swatch is also good at special editions but Swatch watches are not the best beaters. First I want to complete my collection of beater watches.

If Casio would make an AE1200 a.k.a. Casio Royale with Tough Solar, oh boy. Best value digital GMT ever.

I built this a while ago and finally took some crappy pictures:

I am enamored with the Grand Seiko "Snowflake" watch, but will likely never get to a point that I will spend $2K plus on a watch. So, I built an homage. I pieced this watch together from several different shops. The bracelet, sapphire crystal, dial, and watch case all came from a guy here in Chicago who turned his hobby into a small business (ajuicet.com). The case is roughly 39mm which seems to be the sweet spot for my wrist, especially for this style of watch. The Seiko 37.5mm case is just too small, and jumping to a 42mm is a bit too much for a non-dive/sports watch. This case is perfect and I have already bought another one for a different mod. The Grand Seiko dauphine homage hands are from a guy in Singapore (luciusatelier.com). I got a Seiko NH35 for the movement (wanted hand winding and hacking). The dial is prettier in person than what my cellphone camera can capture - great lume, applied indices, and a very nice texture to the face. It was quite the trip to get all the pieces and put them together. Dust and smudges were the hardest hurdles to overcome. I still need to shave a little off the winding pin, but it works for now. Not as refined or perfectly balanced as a Grand Seiko or even a Presage, but damn close, and definitely worth the money and effort. My favorite daily wear now.
