    One of my favorite 90's bands:

    The entire Garbage album was amazing in the 90's and still is:

    "Tesko Suicide" is such a sick track. I'd actually never heard "Velvet Divorce". A soundtrack gem. Thanks for the heads up!

    @TwoEars
    "Queer" has been my song of the week, more or less. Excellent timing! In the past, I've focused more on Version 2.0.

    "Push It" is the track that first got me into Garbage. I was late to the show.

    Version 2.0 has always been an album to me, something to be experienced as a whole from start to finish. Their first eponymous album, on the other hand, has always been something I just dip into--a track here, a track there. Time to remedy that.

    "Play" was the his monster breakout album, which has this "Go" track on it.

    Edit: I think I listened to "South side" like 1000 times back in the day.

    Edit 2: whoops mistaken - Go is not on this one (that's one of his early albums/EPs I believe)

    As immortalized briefly in The Fifth Element trailer.

    An incredibly faithful (practically cut for cut) fan remaster of the original trailer. IMHO, one of the best trailers of all time.

    Radiohead - The Bends (1995)

    Rules for listening:
    1. The last bit must be played as loud as possible.
    2. No sigma-delta DACs. The PCM1796 in my car made a real mess of the percussion.

    @bengo

    Radiohead, f'ing brilliant stuff but also f'ing depressing. I knew a clever girl who used to lock herself in her room and listen to the ok computer album all evening and.... I was a bit worried I must admit. She's alive but f**k me. Kind of funny in hindsight but it was less funny then. :rolleyes:

    I absolutely love this album, but they really need to remaster it. Compressed as hell and the bass is nowhere to be seen.

    Maybe there's a better master/version out there somewhere?

    The best thing about these types of threads is the number of "one hit wonders" that you rediscover. Here is my attempt to add a couple of those to the mix. (no offence intended with the "one hit wonder" label!!)

    I wouldn't call Pulp a one hit wonder though. Well, the other singles aren't as big but I'll chime in with another two here that I personally like more than common people.

    Now you're taking me back to my college radio days.

    Although I prefer the William Shatner version of Common People. I'd post it, but I think that was early or mid 2000's.

    The Massive Attack - Mezzanine album, released in 1998. One of my very favorite bands, for people like myself who are into electronica they are up there with Pink Floyd and all the other all time greats. I also think it's hard to understate how much Massive Attack has meant to the entire EDM industry.
