Needs more Wutang Clan. This played on many boomboxes near basketball courts. Yeah I balled in the sun and was feeling the grooves. Wutang Clan sweeped through Pop like a silent flood full of raw lyrical talent and groovy productions that could not be resisted.

Junkie XL's "Def Beat" from 1997. Big beat and break-beat music was a trend of the late 90ties. This song still lives on in video game soundtracks.

These are two of the hookier tracks. But "Inhaler", "Barabas", "Nr.9", "Sarangi", and "Innervoice" are also highlights. (In fact, several of these are better than "Plus Profound". "2 Wicky" is, I think, something of a trip-hop classic.)

I have to admit I had high hopes when I heard Steve Perry had some new music coming out.
Maybe it's just me, but I found this rather uninspired.

 

This is in my top 5 guitar albums ever.

 

I can always crank this song to 11.

 

Recently rediscovered P.M. Dawn. Their shit is seriously crazy. Very varied. Proto-soundcloud.

"Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" is some 1991 butter.
