I am starting to dig this band. They know their sound. They make it work...
P.S. Their songs are still good. The 1980-ties still live.
Came across Big Star's Third Live while looking for info about an entirely different album, and after sampling a couple of other tracks on it, started to listen to Thirteen. Skylar Gudasz's voice is captivating.

Which led me to her site and, …I like her voice a lot.
Moar ramble: This led me to sample actual Big Star records, and I found I like'em now. Which is weird since I didn't care for them about 5 years ago when I'd sampled them before.

Been coming back to this song for the last 9 months
Giving the album a second thorough listen tonight. Maybe I expected too much. Either way it is still an interesting listen.
