I'm really impressed with my digital set-up today.
I’ve always been somewhat of a fan of Mexican alt rock band Cafe Tacuba and my favorite album of theirs is their ‘96 album of covers Avalancha de Éxitos. Especially what they did with Juan Luis Guerra’s Ojalá Que Llueva Café. Not their typical sound at all but I can just imagine a weathered group of mariachis killing this on a street corner in Mexico. Love it.
Not sure why I went out of my way to find a "Made in Germany" pressing, but I did.

It will always be one of the best songs ever for me, period. He left earth way too soon.
P.S. This song bridges the gap between Motown/"Black Music" and Modern Pop in ways people used to think was impossible. I mean, for me this is timeless.
