This has been on my regular play-list for months now. I have been quite grumpy. Optimism is hard work these days.

Stay healthy my friends. Keep playing your favourite songs \m/

News are relatively useless medium often. How many in-depth articles have you seen like The Guardian ("insert here" better half of media) articles that try to explain quite complex subjects? They are useful for certain professionals, yes... Highly likely. Education and in-depth knowledge is way more important that's why I dont read the news much.

Meh... Watching a cooking show instead.

    New Order ‎– Confusion
    Label: Factory ‎– FAC93
Format: Vinyl, 12", 45 RPM, Single, Reissue, Remastered, 180g
    Country: Europe
    Released: 02 Oct 2020

Folks, I'm a huge fan of New Order (and, to a lesser extent, Joy Division), so I've been gobbling up the newly reissued/remastered 12" singles. So far, I've grabbed (New Order only):

    Ceremony (v1)
    Ceremony (v2)
    Everythings Gone Green
    Temptation
    Thieves Like Us
    Confusion
    Murder

(Blue Monday was sold out, but I'm on a waiting list - not sweating it, because I have an original 12" release from my college days)

All of them have been fine, but some could take issue with the remasters being a wee bit heavier on the bass.

Confusion, however, is NOT heavier on the bass. It sounds GREAT. To nitpick, I guess it could sound a bit less cold, but I'm really reaching for an issue here... Of the reissues I've purchased, it is, without a doubt, the cleanest, most balanced reissue. I like what they did with the others, but this one stands out. Well worth the $15.99.

Oh, and the pressing quality is top-notch. Dead center (tonearm isn't hula dancing), no warping (tonearm not prarie dogging it), and spotless vinyl. Clicks and pops were practically non-existent - I can't remember how many I removed, but I might have been able to count each song's clicks/pops on one hand (one hand for each song, so <=5 click/pops per song).

Many of the reissues on vinyl are mediocre sounding and some exhibit horrible manufacturing issues - dirty/blemished vinyl, warping, off-center punch, enough debris in the sleeve to make the buyer sneeze, etc. Tip of the hat to New Order (and Factory, I guess?) for not turning this into a slipshod shit show of a reissue.

Buy with confidence if you are a New Order vinyl fan and missed out on the originals back in the day!

Good morning! Moving to Amsterdam. Back to my friends...

If change is constant, make it worth living.

P.S. Amsterdam as a city is overrated. When you know people and have friends there, it becomes a village.

I am currently listening Wrld on drugs by juice Wrld. He was a great rapper but unfortunately left us too early. I used to have his special 999 sweatshirt when this song was released. He made his name in such a short span of time in the rap industry. Here is my favourite song of him.
