When Schiit products are out of stock

    My order status is Jotunheim, which isn't even clear enough to be vague. Jotunheim's page says in stock.

    Alright, seems like I have to explain what happened.

    I ordered a Jotun on Thursday evening. Yesterday, I sent an email to Schiit. Around 6am today, I got a reply from Laura, saying "Due to high demand they are temporarily out of stock. As long as we do not experience any production delays, we estimate to have more by the end of next week." I replied back with my disappointment. Haven't received any reply.

    I believe Schiit is a good company & I'm not bashing them. Delay sucks, outdated product page is ugly, but the ugliest is their CS didn't apologize for the mistakes.

    I've had good experiences with their CS. I just expect them to have up to date info on the web page. They have like 25 products. They really don't have an excuse not to.

    I suspect the Jodeleyheehoo demand has been higher than anticipated.

    If it's been out of stock for six days, they should have updated the page. Period.

    I strongly suspect the problem is caused because the inventory & website work manually. They should employ some automatic inventory systems.

    Edit: I let them know that they should update Jotun product page hours ago, yet it still says in stock. I'm trying not to speculate anything.

    With so few products, it should be easier to do it manually.

    It's especially egregious when their website is their primary sales system.

    I've always had a good go with Schiit's CS. I had Jot on order that I expected to ship today, so I asked for an update early this morning. The reply was the same as above, "out stock until next week... etc."

    I asked them to cancel my order, it was an order I made more out of couriosity than necessity. They promptly replied and cancelled the order.

    I feel the frustration, but I still appreciate their top notch customer service.
