well, it appears that i am a total a$$hat.
i have come to the realization that i was way out-of-bounds in posting this request.
to all who responded i owe a deep apology. the offers i received were more than reasonable.
there is a definite gap between desire and resources in any hobby that involves the acquisition of objects.
this is compounded by attempting to please others.
i am off to listen to some music now and attempt to go back to sleep.
its way too early for a night owl retiree to be up fretting over stupid mistakes.
and perhaps too late to express remorse to those kind people who responded.
