    I'm actually honestly seriously considering picking up the box or maybe two. The Gungnir Multibit and Vi DAC are both seriously better out of the balanced output.

    I suspect $300 is the price target for BW customers. This is a custom product. I am expecting to pay $500 for a standalone unit as someone who isn't ordering a BW.

    I'm hoping that potential magick EC box is offered to BW1 owners at the same price?
    Will jump for sure if it's better components/sonics than the Jensen ISOMax (which I already own/use with BW1).

    (you know everything I'm about to type, so this is more for clearing chum of BW Balanced zealots)

    1. no complaints at withdrawing my BW2 order now, I applaud EC for not cramming XLR inputs into a case that grows to Yggdrasil size, ha!
    2. but some of us were not asking/ordering for XLR inputs for Balanced-in-sake %265 stupid,
    but rather that
    a) we know our/some DACs XLR outs are superior to the DAC SE outputs
    and
    b) I have some low noise cracking when using Yggdrasil SE out into BW1 SE due to gremlins or nuclear decay, freaky power or sun spots.
    this gremlin crackling BS goes away when putting the Jensen ISOMax product after Yggdrasil XLR out and BW1 SE in.
    so the hypothetical BW2 with XLR inputs would allow removal of an external transformer and a second set of interconnect cabling.
    big deal? no. OCD issues? heh, sure.

    if EC ends up constructing a better XLR to SE box, count me in. due to trusting you and Craig.
    hell, if that box does kick ass - screw the balanced Copperhead and just tell customers to buy the add on box.

    heh heh. I said box. a lot.

    ~$300 is the price on a Jensen transformer. If it's a custom EC thing, I'd hope either the price matches or it uses fancier transformers that we happily pay some money for.

    I realize things are still in flux, so I'm not holding @purrin to anything. It's possible the economics don't work at less than $300, and I'd understand that. But as a BW customer, I was saying where my price threshold lies.

    indeed, once news hit and I realized that BW2 would not be purchased to replace BW1, immediately went to EC website to check out "should I get that ZDS for HE1K?" conundrum, ha!

    if @MisterRogers doesn't share his Studio listening time with those of us in Colorado in 2016,
    perchance I pitch my tent in front of your door step in India instead?! :D
    hell, at least the food would be better!

    After reading the comments about the SE vs balanced output quality for Yggdrasil and Gungnir Multibit I may have to go for one of the EC magic boxes, too. My Gungnir Multibit is "in-the-mail" almost, maybe tomorrow.

    I don;t understand. Why you guys always want Marv make a Jensen box? We already have Jensen Box, why bother EC? Chinese Jensen box on ebay which using the same materials including the two trans is $110.
