I have the Leeloo ! Lovely sounding with my ZMF Auteur, LSA HP-1, HD650 and my Omega CAM speakers! It gives that extra bite and energy to the headphones compared to the softer sounding Mogwai V1.

For a second I thought you said you had a Lelo and I thought "that would probably elevate the experience."

What's the alternative? Dekoni are cheaper, but the FR graphs suggest they are hideously bass-boosted and treble-killing, which is the last thing I want from the Clear.

not cheaper but the ZMF pads are possibly more durable and definitely less prone to discoloration.

I've used the ZMF pads for Focals for my Utopias and I love them. They come in lambskin or suede. They're not really cheap, but the build quality is definitely higher than the stock pads.

Edit: @edd beat me to it!

But do they (ZMF pads) mess with the FR as much as the Dekoni's? Dekoni pads really seem to mess with the sound (not just with Focals). I consider the headphones.com price a deal. Moon Audio sells a pair of the Clear pads for twice the amount.

Which Zmf pad works with clear/utopia? The particular ZMF pad that comes with the focal conversion kit boosts and muddy's the bass, and brings down the treble while also attenuating the detail some

I use the lambskin perforated ones. I haven't listened with the stock pads in a long time so I don't recall the specific differences... but I don't recall thinking the ZMFs were inferior. but maybe I'm just deaf. I haven't tried the suede perforated ones.

Bug Drop.com to run the Elex pads. I bought a set of those and run them on my Clear, while keeping the OG's minty. Hopefully they don't deteriorate in the meantime.

Unfortunately, with Canadian shipping included, they are close to twice the price to my doorstep. And without certainty of how they change the sound, it's not particularly appealing.

I've never listened to the Dekoni pads, but the ZMF pads do mess with the FR a touch. I've used the perforated lambskin pads with the Utopia and to my ears they add a little bit of bass, attenuate the treble a touch, improve the soundstage, and add a little bit more note decay. I didn't notice a loss of detail, but I would say that the Utopia sound a little less forward and intense and have less treble so the detail is not quite as apparent as with the stock pads. I have found them to be a worthwhile upgrade overall. But just like @edd I haven't listened to the stock pads in a long time.

I would assume that the ZMF suede pads would be better for the Clear since they would be closer to the stock microfiber pads, but that's an assumption based on zero experiential evidence.

    That's a bummer!

Shipping wasn't free when I put them in my cart to check out. 10.57 was the cheapest shipping (USPS) and 6% tax put them at just under $95 total... but I guess in a relative sense they are cheaper than normal, but still overpriced for what they are
