Looks like it was a price mistake -- price is back up to $129. Nice sounding amp -- I picked one up at $60 as a hobby "welcome back" and have been listening to it all week with a Fulla 1 as a source. It has some decent low end nuts for such a small box. Probably going to get a Modibit for it sometime soon.

I remember when this thing was going to be a $500 battery powered amplifier direct from Cavalli. Nice for the price, I'd have been pissed if I'd have spent like...Jotunheim money for it.

Edit: Now it's $50.00. Their pricing is all over the place atm.

 

I can't speak for the current model, but the OG Modi Multibit pairs beautifully with the Spark.
Synergy is similar to MM paired with the CTH but without the added special sauce of the CTH tone and tube magic.
An added bonus of the lower gain is that unlike the CTH, you can use Fostex's biodynamics without going deaf.

 

Their pricing is always all over the place. They used to have similar hour by hour significant changes on the LauX. And some of their other outlets would sometimes be significantly lower than direct (ebay, etc). all shipped from the same place, had the same warranty, etc

 

Monoprice Liquid Spark $49.99. Excellent little amp that works really well as a preamp too. Pricing is all over the place. But you cannot get a better amp for $49.99 IMO.

I don’t know if it qualifies as a deal but there is an Eddie Current phono stage on eBay right now. Not mine and know nothing about it but I know they don’t come up very often. I thought about buying it myself but at this point I may actually have more phono stages than headphones and need to stop and purge some.
