YES-- however, Focal Clear-Lyr3 SMOKES the HD650-Lyr3 AND HD650-Val2. Also the Val2 can't drive the Focal Clears, flat, a blob, no structure. Sooo HD650-Val2 SMOKES Focal Clear-Val2 :D -- not so simple. ;D

Hiya, might also be useful to qualify how the Val2*+Senn is more "addicting" than out of the Lyr 3, since I don't think everyone on here is on the same stuff ;)

(Corrected a typo. Apparently my phone thinks plugging Senns into a calendar works???)

Hopefully I'll have a chance to hear that combo at some point. HD650/val2 is treating me well for now.

I love the HD650/Val2 combo also... there's a bassy aspect to it that just works/is fun--and lets you get into the volume.

I agree. I don't really miss the hard hitting bass of the lyr3. The val2 gives it to me with less slam but better detail. In Giorgio by moroder I'm hearing more plucking in the bassline than the single hit I get on the lyr 3.
