After a coffee at Starbucks I throw away a cup, cardboard koozie, the lid, the stirstick, the sugar wrappers, the napkin, the stirstick and just Starbucks alone sells 11 million cups a day ...it's madness.
I understand why people are concerned about plastic straws and those disposable gloves you get with wings, but at the same time it's a band aid solution being touted as panacea.
Reusable straws FTW. Someone should sell sets going from regular to boba tea to "I could maybe use this to siphon gas"
Seriously? Damn, you guys are doing wings wrong :))
Not the best idea from an ecological standpoint perhaps but they do come in massively handy when you need to clean up asap. What do you guys normally do, knife and fork wings??
I support the straw ban. We're trashing our planet for fast food and disposable convenience which is idiotic at face value. Straws might not make the difference, but if it's the first increment then I'm in favor.
@Hrodulf Tactical straw? More like 'assault' straw. I read some lady in the UK fell with a metal straw in her cup and it impaled her brain. People can't be trusted with such dangerous objects.
Or you just eat the one flavor that actually matters, regular/hot (or Buffalo for those not near Buffalo (or hot wings for those even further from Buffalo))
:P this is why you have to eat wings with gloves @Lyer25 You might get your dainty hands dirty and offend someone when you touch them with wings sauce. :D
