You sure you want wired on ears for running? I’m usually not a fan of IEMs but they’re the only thing that stays in place for me. If on ears stayed on my head, my sweat would make the pads disgustingly soggy.
I used the PX100 for running for a couple years. They stay on fine for me. I think I might have replaced the pads once, but I don't mind if they get stinky. I'm currently using Bose Sound Sport (wired), also discontinued, and the wire is getting a bit frayed. With regular IEMs and Airpods and the like, I get too much occlusion effect, and I really dislike the pound pound pound of each step.
PX100 II, PX90, Airpods Pro2 in transparent mode - might shock you. KSC-75/35... I used the MassDrop Plus+ IEM. It didn't bother me too much on the treadmill and everything else, but the occlusion thing might bother you. Someone in my gym was wearing iSine 10's - if you can get a good fit with the EQ cable, they might be the most hi-fi running experience you can have. The LX's were 10's for a lower price.
FWIW, I use beats fit pro. They stay in well and aren’t too uncomfortable. Transparency mode is good for outside and ANC is good for the treadmill. Only complaint is my sweat can interfere with the fit and sound but I sweat buckets
PX100 and 90 discontinued. I use AirPods Pro for the weight room, but they fall out of my ears running (though should experiment with after-market tips/hooks) and still have some occlusion effect. I've thought of iSine's, actually, but they really don't stay on or in running. I'll check out the Beats Fit Pro.
Also might try the Porta Pro wireless as they have volume control.
It's a weirdly narrow category if you're fussy (like me) about sound and avoiding occlusion effect (which I find maddening and takes away any sense of relaxation from running).
Took the Link Buds out on a (literal) test run today. No occlusion effect/foot pounding. Stay in my ears. Not super comfortable, but need to try different tips. Decent sound, but not terribly convincing bass, even with a boost. Will have to play around with them more.
I bought a set and can concur that bass is pretty non-existent. However I didnt get for music but for podcasts and audiobooks. The open-ness is nice for that no occlusion effect as you describe, and soundstage feels much larger and outside of head compared to my Galaxy Buds Live.
