Just got this print in. Anybody else see these while they were available? Or collect prints/posters/paintings, sculptures... Anything that you would consider art, etc?

I don't own any right now, but I went to Art Basel here in Miami Beach last December. All I can say is that I was so moved with some of the pieces that I'd like to own one someday. It made me more aware of the artwork around me like in album art, the ones you see around people's houses, and wow, I'm just in awe. I never really understood why people went to art exhibits or galleries but somehow, something clicked that weekend. I was watching this to wrap my head around the strange thoughts I had in my head and I really liked how they said how you should relax around art much like what people do with music. Anyway, here's a few pieces I really enjoyed.

I want to eventually have a more thorough understanding of art, though I still like how it evokes emotion now despite of me not knowing any of the technical stuff.

@jacq Those look like they were from SCOPE, not Art Basel proper right? I strongly recommend anyone visiting Miami for Basel week to check out the SCOPE tent, especially if you lean towards contemporary pieces.

I went to Art Basel proper, then Pulse Miami but there's a whole lot you can go to when you're there for the week. Really informative, I liked a lot of stuff.
