Campfire Audio Andromeda IEM Loaner

Shipped out today to @daytripper for delivery on 9/9. I miss these already.

Immediate impression? Out of an iPhone, it sounds like a freakishly synergistic HD 600 combo. For an IEM, that is frankly astonishing.



Mobile kit. Andromeda sounds excellent from this setup, albeit tonally somewhat different from the iPhone.

 

Heh, couldn't agree more @jexby. In this context, "mobile" means seated with my laptop in front of me. Using the term rather loosely, I'll admit. When I'm up, out and about, it's strictly iPhone.

I'm pretty satisfied with the SE output of the Mojo for use with IEMs, but I throw the pico Power into the mix to change up the sound a little. It's bit more forward and energetic than the Mojo, which is sometimes desired.

So far, I like the Andromeda best out of the iPhone. @Marvey was right about that pairing being complimentary.

Last but certainly not least, the Andromeda has been dispatched to @Merrick.

I thoroughly enjoyed my audition, and gained a new appreciation for what a finely tuned BA IEM is capable of. Andromeda is the proverbial "Real Deal." Just wish it wasn't so pricey at MSRP!

 

The price wasn't really a deal breaker for me. If I could get this in a CIEM, it would be a done deal! I had trouble with the shallow fit.

 

Received these today! Going to put them through their paces in a bit.

 

I believe I'm due to send these back tomorrow, are they going back to @Marvey?
