    And a 4 year update, I honestly couldn't tell if the vents worked because I finally tested when it was very cold and kept them zipped. Other chances were too warm to even use the bag, so I may never really know. I will say though, that the waterproof foot box ended up retaining too much heat (prob lack of breathability)- my feet were on fire with socks on and sweaty without them. And while the odd shape did help a little with movement, I think I would probably be happier with a hooded rectangular bag and deal with the inefficiency in warmth and weight in exchange for more movement ability.

    After f'ing with endless burners in mountains, desert and forest, it works flawlessly under all conditions. The point of least resistance between you and that first cup of coffee in the morning and hot water for your MRE.
