    The new Yggdrasil (with the analogue 2 update) is apparently enough of a massive step up in quality as to warrant people moving up the chain, which means lots of Gungnir Multibit owners might be getting jittery in their listening seats.

    Of course, I could be completely off the mark, and if memory serves, there should be an A2 update for the Gungnir Multibit as well? Only time will tell.

    While Yggy2 might be a decent upgrade from Gungnir Multibit (I haven't personally heard it), make no mistake (and I know you didn't mean anything by it @Lyer25 ), but for anyone reading this ad and wondering what to do, Gungnir Multibit w/ the Gen 5 is a STUNNING dac. Further, for almost 1/3 of the price of a new Yggy2 to your door, this is a great performer at a great price!

    Whoops. Sorry, didn't mean to be an asshole.

    This DAC is beloved for a reason, and yes, though the Yggdrasil may be technically superior, the Gungnir Multibit brings a lot of it's performance to the table for a much more palatable price. I've heard neither (Schiit stuff pretty rare in the Philippines), but I've been wanting to demo these for the longest time!

    Speaking of, I'm surprised these are still up. Good luck!
