I've noticed that the same size and model comply foam tips that I've bought in the past year or so have been wildly inferior to the product I used to get several years ago. They don't seem to actually use memory foam anymore, at least not high density foam. I can't roll and pinch the tips like I used to be able to in order to insert them in my ears and let them expand into place -- they don't compress and have no "memory." They're pretty lousy now. I can't get them into my ear without jamming them in and then they pop right off my IEMs when I try to take them out so I end up with a wedge of foam in my ear. This isn't a temperature dependent effect, either.

Anyone else notice this? Did they rebrand and create a more expensive version that actually uses memory foam?

You sure you got real ones? I got some a couple months ago that are still the same memory foam that you can squish down and get into your ears as it slowly expands.

Both the pairs I've gotten on amazon recently and the pairs that came with my RHA IEMs have the same issues. I actually got a pair from amazon about six months ago where the foam wasn't glued to the plastic insert so they just slid right off. Useless.
