    Loaner interest check on a APPJ PA1502A mini tube headamp, courtesy of @a44100Hz (thanks!). This thing is on Massdrop currently @ $150. a44100Hz reported this competed favorably against the Magni 2.

    Post below and include your city, state so I can work out the route. @a44100Hz, lmk where you are too so we know where it starts.

    I'm not saying this is open to non-friends, but if you've been here a while, and we know you, I wouldn't be opposed to it.

    I'm in NYC.

    This was my intro to tube amps and the first time I heard it with my HE-400i after using a Magni 2 for a while the improvement in space and euphoria I experienced let me know I would never really be that interested in [non-TOTL] solid state implementations again and I suspect others may benefit from having that chance to test tubes for themselves.

    To that end you'll have two options for the 6V6 power tubes and four options for the 12V preamp tubes so you can see if tube rolling has audible significance to you.

    Hi, I am still a relatively new member but I would love to be able to hear a tube amplifier before I start spending big $$$. I live in Baltimore Maryland if this ever becomes a thing. Since I am a non-friend I am willing to put down a security deposit or something along those lines just to get a chance to hear something like this. Please keep me posted.

    I was going to pic a Vali2 for secondary amp to play with,
    But instead I choose this lil beauty as it looks more fun...
    Gona buck the tide yet again and tinker with it.
