Basically modded Oppo PM-2’s. Very well done. Very well balanced and warm tilted. Super comfy for all day wear.

These have the felt pads, which I thought had a bit more high end at the expense of slightly softer lows than the leather perforated pads. This was my preference.

I took the Audio Zenith stickers off because they stated to come off anyway and I liked the sleeker look of the original Oppo look. Headband mostly in good shape with a bit of flaking at the connection sides. See pic.

Comes with 6 ft. custom balanced cable as well as the stock cable and the Denim case.

That’s an insane deal. One of the best headphones ever IMNSHO. Someone please buy it before I talk myself into getting it as a spare unit. (With the velour pads, I assume it’s a v1. Nothing wrong with that, though. Just a subtly different tuning.)

(Buyer note: The PMx2 needs a beefy amp. Not sure why.)

I will also add that I am the second owner. It was sent to Audio Zenith last year for a checkup and given the all clear and then sent directly to me.

The PMx2 does need a beefy amp. I really liked it out of the Black Widow and the Mjolnir 1 as well as (of course) the Ragnarock 1. They do not need as much an HE-6, but I would put them on par with an HE-500 as far as power requirements. Even a Lyr 3+ or Asgard 3 would be just fine.

And only selling because I am going the other way for HD800's.

 

If it's the pair that I sold you, then it is actually V2 but with the velour pads. I think Alex made a few pairs of the V2 with the velour pads before transitioning to the leather pads.
