Prototype ECP Torpedo 1 (aka T1) built by Tom from ECP. for 120V power. Although I think internal jumpers can be removed for 240V input.

Comes with many extra tubes, see photos.

I also used a white paint pen to give contrast the the volume knob indicator. See pictures.

Has slight hum when the lid is on. All mods have been done to correct this and is only barely audible when there is no music playing. Most of the time not noticeable, but may bother some.

Power cable not included. Includes nine pair of compatible tubes, which includes a pair of cryo Miniwatt E90CC’s. Price includes shipping to lower 48.

    $375 for Friends/Contribes
    $400 for everyone else

    From the original description-

This Beezar Audio T1 includes the following:
    • 14" long, 2oz copper, ECP Audio-designed Torpedo PCB. Custom construction by Beezar's TomB includes complete wicking using 63/37 on all solder joints. The PCB is also thoroughly rinsed of flux residue to promote longevity.
    • Custom-wound Edcor transformers - one power transformer and two output transformers
    • Beezar-Context custom extruded, machined, black-anodzied, and laser-etched aluminum case - 14" long.
    • TomB's custom construction includes all developed tweaks for the Torpedo: 1) Hammond Choke, 2) Zener diode mod, and 3) Upgraded rectifiers with snubber capacitors.
    • Genuine Alps "Blue Velvet" RK27 50K volume pot
    • Neutrik headphone jack
    • Gold-pin 7-pin ceramic PCB tube sockets
    • Output caps in this version have been upgraded to Cornell-Dublier film caps, a decided upgrade from the Solen caps shown in the pics
    • IEC inlet with fuse drawer and two fuses (one spare)
    • Genuine Wima MKP4 film capacitors, Panasonic and Nichicon electrolytic capacitors
    • Metal film resistors used throughout, with Vishay-Dale resistors where 1/4W and 1/2W are sufficient
    • 30mm solid aluminum volume knob
    • 4-40 socket head cap screws with full complement of washers/lock washers used throughout.

This is tempting just out of curiosity, but I should probably continue saving for a 3Fmk2. GLWS
