Buyer (on another forum) wasn't happy. They said they were able to induce driver rattle if playing 40something Hz test tones in it at around 90dB. I cannot replicate "Focal rattle" with loud music or test tones, although it may be because I "only" tried with my Vali2+ (volume at 2 o'clock on high gain). Additionally, they sent the headphones back with worn pads so I'm knocking $110 off the original price so you can buy new pads ($99 at headphones.come right now + probably tax). I believe they probably just had a case of buyer's remorse, but I'm disclosing the above for any potential buyer to judge. Everything else came back OK, including the case, cables, etc. PM for additional details if you want or if you want pictures of the worn pads.

Will also trade for a pair of ACME 2A3 + a small amount of cash on your end.

Purchased new in 2018 from TSAV. Selling b/c between a new Utopia and finally finding Auteur pads I really like, I don't use the Clear as much anymore. This headphone has never had a failure, driver excursion issue, RMA, etc.

Pads are still clean. Given that it's suede on the underside of the headband, I never used this while dirty, sweaty, etc. - usually used at night after a shower, but you will see a tiny bit of darkening in the suede due to use. No other dents, scratches, or cosmetic blemishes that I'm aware of.
