SOLD: Franken AD2000

SOLDAsking $199 now $180 due to impulse Cyber Monday Purchase of yet another pair of headphones (shipping USA and PP fees on me). Will list elsewhere in a couple days but want to give the SBAF community a shot first

These are a pair of AD2000 drivers inside of an AD500x shell. This was made by a very well known headfier. I am at least the second owner. They're in pretty good condition, the stock pads are really the only thing that look worn (not pictured, but can be). They were re-cabled to be dual entry upon driver swapping. They currently have a rean 3.5mm at termination, which was done by an owner (I believe the original plug was a 1/4"). The plug can be just a tad bit finicky with certain jacks or adapters, but once it's seated properly it's good.

I put Hifiman velour pads on them (pictured), but will also include the original stock pads.

I haven't heard the real things, but these sound quite good. I used them for gaming and certain genres like orchestral and rock, as they were much more comfortable than my HE-500.

Looking to sell because I got some Ethers and am using them for all open-backed duties.
