WTB: Letshuoer S12 iems

Just don't send them a modded pair to demo. They'll copy what you did and move on.

 

You have the pair I sent with the RD-R at least

 

Any other trick for the Pro (other than micropore) ?

 

Wanted to update my stance on these. Welp.. I ordered the much more expensive S15 in hopes of what I have now, and ++

So, yes - these are a real nice IEM that doesn't show-off, but is more full sounding than most other style microdrivers. My JVC / Drop FX1's are full also, but slight softer transients.

These are not as big and grand as the LCD-i4, but they are sort of different products. LCD-i4 with all the stars aligned is still a tech showcase. S12 Pro is a music showcase.

 

im really curious about the S15 but I’ve held off for 3 reasons

1. I can’t open the shells like the S12 to mod them and Letshouer didn’t respond to my request for opened S15’s and S12’s.
   
2. The “filter” as they call it looks like a passive electrodynamic driver which I don’t like. Not necessary.
   
3. I read a review that said the mids were recessed which is a no go for me.

I’ll probably pick up a pair eventually but I’d love to be able to modify them.

I think you asked about the S12 Pro. They’re not the same iem as the S12 despite what people say. It’s much easier to modify them for neutral response but they don’t have as much potential as the S12.

we should probably post in a different thread before the mods come for us.

I’ve managed to find a number of older version S12’s elsewhere. I don’t know why more aren’t available here.
