I've been an audiophile since I was in high school, and decided to study electrical engineering because of my audio interest. I ended up focusing on digital electronics and software in my career, so after some DIY projects in college, I didn't do any audio design work until recently.
About five years ago (2019), I decided it would be fun to build a speaker kit, so I built a pair of GR-Research NX-Oticas. I had a blast and loved the results, so started doing more DIY projects. Since then, I have built three more speaker systems, two pair of subs, four pair of monoblock amps, three stereo amps, a streamer, various acoustic treatments, and numerous cables of various types.
I currently have two tube preamps and a streamer/DAC in development.
Here are some photos of my main listening room.
