    Talking Dog Transducer Company PurrUSB1
Modified CM6631A USB to S/PDIF converter. Allows nearly all the PC noise on supply, ground and data lines to cancel "across the load" via balanced-line-style common mode noise cancellation, and THEN has big enough and fast enough supply capacity directly at the pins of each of the interface's chips to prevent them, esp. the main signal proc., from polluting their own supply lines and each from the other.

    Theta DS Pro Generation V
    Talking Dog Transducer Company modded.

    Mods to DAC board:
Nichicon electrolytics of 10 to 50 times original capacitance value (current storage capacity) & whopping capacitance value RelCap polystyrene caps in parallel with all the key electrolytics for max finesse with, in each instance, a large value but small size polyester cap under board for bulk film capacity to cover finesse in the lower frequencies. The analog stages now have about 40x original capacity, much located right close to the final output transistors, and likewise with bypass caps above and/or below. All of the cruddy little ceramic caps not used for bypass but doing any sound-affecting function were replaced with 5x larger & better polyester film caps. Final bit on the dac board was running short bits of super-pure-surface, enameled copper wire to the new CMC copper-basemetal output jacks.

    Mods to processor board:
Replaced all of the tantalum caps with Nichicons of 5-10x larger value where it matters, with poly film caps under board bypassing the key electrolytic caps on supply lines for key chips. Doubled the size of the main supply input filter cap with Nichicon. Wired all the ins & outs with pure silver (doubled up on all the inputs for even a little better result), with all new Copper RCA jacks & a proper, instrumentation grade, Silver-plated BNC jack.

    Mods to power supply board:
New toroidal transformer (operating at <30% of rated capacity), 14 dual fast/soft-recovery rectifier diodes to replace the 7 horribly cruddy standard bridge units, and many added caps- nice polypropylene film bypass caps on every supply line, added very large value Nichicons where accountants had deleted them in stock design, bigger main processor filter cap.

    "KH-100 franken-phone"
    DR-ZX701IP / Yamaha YH-100
Sony DR-ZX701IP frame, gutted, Yamaha YH-100 drivers installed, Gold Plated OCC Copper Litz braid cable, Aliexpress genuine lambskin fenestrated earpads. Paxmate lines housing walls to kill reflections, Mundorf Angel Hair in cups (damps drivers and diffuses backwave).
    I like building stuff:

    Headphones especially
Headphone re-cables (OCC Litz braids sheathed in paracord)
    Interconnect cables (DIY Helix design)
    Tactile sound vest
    Battery generator
    etc....
