FS: Cap Modded OG Liquid Platinum w/Socket Savers, Gold Lions, Bugle Boy D-Getters

I am selling my first run Liquid Platinum. That means this amp has higher gain, and does not suffer from channel imbalance which had become common in the new models. The volume knob on this is smooth as butter and has nice resistance. (With Monoprice quality control this is not always the case). This has the elna cap mod, in addition to the later revision of a KZ series nichicon cap at the front XLR position which improves bass and overall was a major improvement to the mod for me at least.

This includes the original box, amp, power supply, socket savers, and two sets of upgraded tubes (no stock tubes included). Here is info about the extras:

• Matched of Genalex Gold Lion E88CC/6922 Tubes - Purchased new from Viva Tubes, less than 50 hours of use. These are a great upgrade over stock across the board.

• Matched Pair of 1958 Amperex 6DJ8/ECC88 Bugle Boy D-Getter Holland Tubes - THESE TUBES ARE INCREDIBLE. These are the tubes you want with the Liquid Platinum, especially if you want an additional bit of warmth, which I feel is needed with the cap mod. I bought these NOS via ebay about a year ago. These were always a secondary set of tubes for me until I did the cap mod, (pre-mod I slightly preferred some NOS telefunkens). I would guess they have at most 200 hours on them. They are completely noise-free, just sounds great and natural on the LP.
• Tubemonger Socket Savers- These are the ones you want if you are going to be rolling tubes. I found them to be completely transparent and rock solid. Sit nice and flush with the top of the LP (can see in photo).

I have this listed for $600 on HF, looking for $500 net to me selling here to friends/contributors. Good chance to try out the cap modded LP along with an upgraded "stock" tube in the Gold Lion and a truly fantastic NOS tube with the Amperex. I loved this amp, but I am making space for the SW51+ and an "I hate having money and can't leave well enough alone" endgame amp (Pendant, 3F, Starlett, etc).
